At the Town Hall of Genappe in Belgium, Mayor Gérard Couronné and his team were exposed to intense heat under the glass roof, especially in summer, when temperatures could rise above 50°C. Mayor Couronné contacted Déco Film, a Solar Gard installer based in Spy, Belgium, to resolve the issue and improve comfort in the building. Solar Gard Sentinel Plus Silver 20 was chosen as the solution, that allows up to 86% of solar energy to be rejected while still maintaining good light transmission. The Mayor says: “As soon as Déco Film began the installation, I immediately felt the difference. This renovation will fully meet the expectations of the Town Hall staff.”
