Solar Gard Focuses on Internal Growth and Continued Brand Elevation with Promotion of Senior Executives

Longstanding Employees Aim to Evolve Brand and Increase Revenue Through New Roles Within the San Diego-based Window Film Company

Solar Gard, a global leader in advanced film technologies across the automotive and architectural industries, recently announced the promotions of Luc Goemaere and Sally Yadollahi to senior leadership positions. Through their previous roles as Global Market Manager, Architectural, and Global Product Manager, Window Films, both Goemaere and Yadollahi were critical in the development and advancement of the Solar Gard brand. In their new roles, they take on increased challenges and responsibilities to both increase awareness of Solar Gard products, and to further develop the company’s offerings with new, revolutionary products.

Goemaere has been with Solar Gard since 2011, using his experience and expertise throughout the marketing department to prioritize on global segments where Solar Gard can show its strength and bring value to its partners and customers. In his new role as Global Market Manager, Thin Films, he will manage a team focused on international marketing efforts of architectural, automotive and industrial window film business. Under his leadership, the management team will effectively represent its global partners and customers, focusing on serving the market’s needs.

Yadollahi’s 25-year tenure within the window film industry has proven her capabilities both on the product and leadership sides and successfully established her to take on her new role as Global Product Manager, Thin Films. In her new role, she will be responsible for the entirety of the thin film product portfolio, which includes window, paint protection, and industrial films.

“I am ecstatic to step into my new role as global product manager, thin films, and continue to lead a cross-functional and incredibly talented team towards success and growth,” said Yadollahi.

“In this new role, my main goal will be to help expedite the product development process, ultimately continuing the growth of the business in cooperation with our dedicated partners worldwide. It’s imperative that we focus on better serving our customers, and utilize additional resources to accelerate product development will hold a key part of that effort.”

During her time in the industry, Yadollahi has held positions as a chemist, senior application engineer and window film global product manager. Her background in chemistry navigated the way to her development of several new products, including Low E and the Ultra Performance product line. Along with managing new coating technology equipment for qualification trials and capital investment, Yadollahi’s previous role as a window film product manager was instrumental in the launch of the OSW new generation, Sentinel and Sentinel Plus.

Yadollahi holds a master’s degree in polymer chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara/Turkey. Goemaere holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Vlerick Business School and an undergraduate degree in applied economics from the University of Antwerp.
